Job Description:

Edisto Post-Acute located in Orangeburg, South Carolina, is a 113-bed skilled nursing & rehab facility less than a mile from the beautiful Edisto Memorial Gardens. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for the elderly to join our team in a dual role to assist in social services and activities!

• $15-20 p/hour commiserate with experience


• Schedule: Mon-Fri with some weekends (as needed)

Successful candidates will have the following:

• Passion for working with the elderly


• Excellent customer service skills


• Basic computer skills


• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time


• Advanced time management skills


• Demonstrated experience in a support role in the SNF environment preferred


• Current CPR certification


• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities of the Social Services & Activities Assistant include but not limited to:

• Completing all new admission paperwork


• Accurately completing activities & social admission assessments


• Ensure smooth transition for admissions


• Assist with discharge planning


• Participate with resident 1:1 activities


• Other duties as assigned by administrator
