Job Summary


The Vice President Talent Acquisition will lead strategic talent acquisition strategies for corporate, plant, field and executive roles. This leader must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team-oriented environment.  The Vice President of TA will help grow OBE’s employment brand and create market strategies to attract talent across the U.S. and Canada.  This role can be based out of our Dallas Corporate Headquarters or remotely within the US.


Here’s What You’ll Get To Do



  • Lead a talent acquisition team that is highly connected to top talent, external marketplaces, and internal stakeholders

  • Partner with senior leadership to continually assess business needs and long-term growth plans of the organization.

  • Directly own the recruitment of senior level talent

  • Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent.

  • Analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.

  • Manage the talent acquisition process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.

  • Vendor management for all external Talent Acquisition partners (ex. LinkedIn, Indeed, 3rd party agencies).

  • Develop and maintain a strong employer brand to attract top talent.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

  • Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, educational institutions, and other potential talent sources.

  • Develop and mentor talent acquisition team members. 


Here’s What We’re Looking For



  • Ability to travel 25-50%

  • 15+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software.

  • Experience leading teams in a dynamic recruiting environment.

  • Experience leading and managing initiatives while balancing daily talent acquisition delivering operational excellence in talent acquisition.

  • Experience with organizational change and project/program development.

  • Ability to lead cross-functionally and build influence across hierarchy levels on high impact, high-visibility corporate strategies.

  • Preferred experience with creating or leading an early career hiring strategy.

  • Prior experience in a PE environment preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources or Business Administration.
