Test Euipment Technician- Calibration




Orlando, FL




Contract Position




$29.57 - $34.57 / Hourly

Responsibilities:

• Calibrate electronic test and signal generating equipment to meet established standards.


• Test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain a variety of measuring instruments, including electromechanical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, and pressure-type equipment.


• Set up calibration sequences and methods based on detailed specifications, blueprints, and requirements.


• Disassemble, clean, repair, and replace defective parts in test equipment such as pressure gauges and tension meters.


• Monitor and verify quality in alignment with statistical process control procedures.

Qualifications:

• 
  Education: High school diploma required (No degree required).


• 
  Experience:
  
  
  
  • 
    2-4 years of experience with test measurement calibration tools, including oscilloscopes, RF generators, and digital multimeters (DMM).
  
  
  • Familiarity with IndySoft calibration software and the Microsoft Office Suite for reading procedures.
  
  
  • Experience with electronic and physical calibration.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Desired Qualifications:
  
  
  
  • Experience with Optics Software.
