Position: Promotions Marketing Manager Position Overview:

Join USA Today Network Ventures and Promotions, which supports Gannett with Promotions resources companywide. This role is ideal for individuals that possess strong marketing, design, and digital skills.

Core Responsibilities:

• Create marketing elements for multichannel promotions. This includes concept development as well as market ready sales collateral, print and digital promotion, email marketing, and social campaigns
• Build Online Promotions using Second Street platform CSM
• Customize Collateral and House Ads for Promotions that are aligned to events as well as promotions that leverage market opportunity
• Project management for each promotion ensuring deadlines for registration and execution are achieved
• Work with local markets for campaign development and support markets with great customer service skills, very often juggling several campaigns at the same time.

Required Skills:

• Development of Print, Digital, Email and Social Marketing assets using Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Photoshop.
• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Microsoft Programs (Excel and Word)
• HTML/CSS skills needed; you will use these on a daily basis
• Experience in Google Analytics
• Knowledge and understanding of Email campaign best practices preferred
• Strong Customer Service and Communication Skills
• Copywriting skills preferred

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $45,000 and $64,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
