Design and develop Machine learning algorithms for both batch (hourly) and online (< 1 second latency) inference use cases. ? Fine-tuning the model performance, and packaging the model into well-known frameworks such as pyTorch, lightGBM, and ready for production. ? Ability to work on multi-faceted projects with engineers from diverse backgrounds, heterogenous skills and across teams. ? Work in an Agile environment that focuses on collaboration and teamwork
5+ years of software experience (preferably in python or java environment), with 3+ years of relevant ML and data science experience. ? Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and classical ML algorithms. ? Hands-on experience on fine-tuning algorithms, and packaging the code into production-ready model classes. ? Proven experience working on cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, Azure. ? Expertise with the entire ML life-cycle, including data wrangling and cleaning, EDA, and model shipping. Preferred Qualifications ? Experience with search or recommendation engines. ? Experience with ML platforms, such as AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, or any other ML platform. ? Experience in adopting open source ML packages, or published papers.
Excellent communication and people engagement skills, and mentor colleagues on best practices and technical concepts of building large scale solutions. Required Education ? Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
