AML Compliance is responsible for The Bank's overall Anti-Money Laundering Program, including oversight of the New Client Adoption (NCA), Know Your Customer (KYC), new transactions and products processes giving rise to financial crime risk. The Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer (AMLCO) position will manage the Anti-financial crime (AFC) Private Bank (PB) which includes overseeing client due diligence as part the KYC process for High Risk clients, Regular (aka Periodic) KYC Reviews, Event Driven Reviews, Remediation of KYC files for all Businesses within PB and overseeing new transactions and products raised by these respective Businesses.

What You'll Do
Manage one or more AFC officer teams, including their managers, delivering best-in-class AFC client reviews and risk-based decisions
Oversight of due diligence completion & approval of escalated high-risk/elevated-risk Corporate Bank(CB) client files on an ongoing basis. Provide senior point of escalation for the team and its stakeholders
Lead the execution of operational capacity and productivity framework to ensure an effective and sustainable end-to-end process
Manage talent strategy initiatives throughout the teams such as development plans & talent management including ongoing coaching/mentoring staff, Drive continuous improvements to quality of reviews and interdepartmental service levels along with optimizing productivity strategies
Enable ongoing training to develop and enhance staff knowledge of AFC & Business/products, Perform quality reviews/L2 reviews based on triggers and identify any AFC risks or breaches to KYC standards
Approve temporary waiver requests relating to alternative verification measures Interface with senior management/Business/ Client lifecycle management(CLM) and provide guidance and support related to client-specific issues and KYC requirements, Serve as delegate for product stakeholders advising lines of business on risk issues and providing solutions to maintain an effective control framework, Interact with auditors and regulators regarding reviews and regulatory matters

Role requires managing issues/concerns escalated by various stakeholders with moderate oversight and being held accountable for decisions made on day to day basis
The role will be measured by findings, red flags and peer feedback
Role will have key interactions with stakeholders including Business/ Accountable client officer / owner (ACO), ABR management, Regional Business Line Anti-Financial Crime (BLAFC) and Other controls functions
Skills You'll Need
Extensive of experience, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience/qualifications. CAMS Certification (preferred, but not required)
Superior risk management skills and knowledge of relevant local/global AML laws/regulatory requirements
Knowledge of USA PATRIOT Act, 5th EU Money Laundering Directive, FATF standards, Wolfsberg Group & other regulatory measures (preferred), Strong Understanding of Global Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, and Private Client Businesses
Work experience in the financial services industry within AML/CFT/BSA Compliance, Risk Management, Business Controls, KYC, Legal, & Regulatory Functions, Strong management skills, including coaching, work allocation, and providing risk assessment feedback. Ability to motivate employees and provide meaningful feedback and career direction
Prior direct experience with Regulatory examination teams, internal and external audit, and senior stakeholders

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $100,000 to $145,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
