Job Description:
**Hybrid - Qualified applicants will be local to the Atlanta area and willing to go onsite 2-3 days a week**Director of Risk ManagementKey Technical Skills:
- Risk Management
- Workers' Compensation Claims Management
- General Liability Claims Management
- Insurance Procurement
- Regulatory Compliance
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage workers' compensation claims and general liability claims.
- Oversee insurance procurement processes.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and reporting requirements.
- Lead and develop the risk management team.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Protect the company's assets and manage risk exposure.
- Act as a crucial part of the risk management team, serving as the next line of defense in the risk management strategy.
- Travel up to 15% as required.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, Teamwork and collaboration, Problem-solving abilities, Attention to detail, Leadership and decision-making.
Required Certifications/Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Associate in Risk Management (ARM)) are a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
