Our Oak Creek, Wi operation is seeking individuals who are dedicated to continuous improvement and life-long learning. We are currently seeking an experienced Product Application Specialist to join our team.
The role of this position is matrix orientated in close collaboration with the sales and production department to achieve the strategic objectives. Central technical position in advising and supporting internal as well as external.
The responsibilities of this role are:
Technical assistance of customers in close collaboration with the sales department
Supporting trials at customers as well as analysis of customer claims in close collaboration with the Quality department
Define the customer requirements and needed film structures for customer applications
Partner with R&D to validate develop specifications for new applications and product features
Partner with the Production department to establish specifications and tolerances to ensure compliance during production processes
Knowledge of the relevant packaging machinery and networking with the machine manufacturers
Provide the highest level of internal and external technical service
Work effectively in a culturally diverse work group
Identify material substitutions, process compliance, efficiency improvements and conduct supplier evaluations
Evaluated customer applications and select appropriate materials
Research, evaluate and propose new product features in support of customer requirements
Lead projects to advance our strategies
Make informed recommendations on timing and prioritization of new features and product introductions
