Apex Systems is looking for a Project Manager to join a growing team in Englewood, CO.
This position would require 2 days a week onsite.
This position is a 3 month contract to hire and the salary upon conversion is between $90,000-$110,000.
Required Skills:
3-5+ years of Project management experience (PMP preferred).
Project Manager with a QA / BA background.
Breakdown of the role is 70% PM / 20% QA / 10% BA
Experience managing multiple IT projects simultaneously (software development, implementation, etc.)
Experience building test cases
Experience facilitating and gathering requirements and doing analysis with the business
Excellent facilitation, collaboration, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment.
Focused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability.
Understanding of software development lifecycles (i.e., Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative)
Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tool to manage software development projects.

Project Management
Directs large-scale, complex projects that may involve multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Defines, creates, and executes project plans for project, portfolio, and product prioritization and implementation.
Coordinates with cross-functional teams to align project objectives with company goals.
Creates risk mitigation strategies to anticipate, assess and resolve project risks as they are encountered.
Develops and executes comprehensive project plans, ensuring timelines & milestones are met and communicating weekly status
Works with the Manager, PMO to recommend improvements to the PMO teams process and procedures.
Quality Assurance:
Lead QA initiatives by creating, executing & maintaining test plans.
Conduct thorough reviews of project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards.
Report on the progress of testing and help drive issue resolution.
Business Analyst:
In some situations - Gather and document project requirements from stakeholders.
Analyze and document business processes to identify areas for improvement.
Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
Facilitate communication between business units and development teams to ensure alignment.
