Pay Range: $60 - $72/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and resolve state and local tax notices and tax account issues.
Review and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and local tax regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to address tax-related inquiries and discrepancies.
Provide support and guidance to payroll team members on state and local tax matters.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Skills-Payroll processes, tax regulations, ADP.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and tax compliance.
Strong knowledge of state and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Familiarity with ADP Payroll, including ADP Smart Compliance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with setting up tax accounts, filing tax returns, handling tax notices, payroll company level tax returns, speaking with tax agencies etc.
Degree is not essential.
