Job Description:
Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in commercial estimating and construction practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to interpret and analyze plans, specifications, and project-related documents
- In-depth knowledge of commercial hardscape construction processes and techniques
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in the commercial construction industry
- Proven ability to successfully close business deals
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential project opportunities for bidding and secure new contracts
- Review and assess project scope, plans, specifications, and documents to gain a comprehensive understanding of requirements
- Determine necessary materials and subcontractor involvement for each project
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost data for estimates and project planning
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project success and team synergy
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and secure competitive proposals from subcontractors
- Resolve any inconsistencies or issues in project documentation
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all project estimates
- Develop and present clear, detailed estimates by compiling relevant numerical and descriptive data
- Review and evaluate cost estimates for CEO approval before final submission
- Present proposals to clients and follow up with them after submission, ensuring continuous feedback to management
- Successfully close sales on proposed projects and lead the construction process from start to finish
- Attend client meetings, conduct project site visits, and coordinate fieldwork with subcontractors to ensure alignment with client expectations
- Maintain comprehensive records of client communications and project updates
- Hold full P&L accountability and provide regular progress reports to the CEO, ensuring project milestones and financial targets are met

- $75,000 to $80,000 a year
