Job Title:Medical Support Specialist (MSS)

- Mesa, AZ (2 positions)
- Tucson, AZ (Golf Links Drive - 2 positions, Auto Mall Drive - 2 positions)
Overview: I am looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Support Specialists (MSS) across several sites in Arizona.
The MSS will play a crucial role in donor eligibility testing, health assessments, and supporting donor safety in a specialized medical setting.

Schedule: Flexible shift options with advanced scheduling:
- 4 x 10-hour shifts or 5 x 8-hour shifts per week.
Available shift times:
- Monday: 11:30 AM - 9:00 PM
- Tuesday-Thursday: 5:30 AM - 9:00 PM
- Friday: 5:30 AM - 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- Sunday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct donor health evaluations, including medical history interviews, physical exams, and blood testing.
- Manage donor reactions and address emergency situations following established protocols.
- Notify donors of unsuitable test results and manage deferrals as per guidelines.
- Assist in health and safety programs, including vaccinations and first aid for employees.
- Support continuous improvement efforts in operational procedures.
Qualifications:
- EMT, LPN, or RN certification in Arizona (must be currently licensed).
- 2+ years of clinical or hospital experience preferred.
- CPR and AED certification required.
- Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and weekends.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
