Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and technically adept Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of dust extraction system projects-from planning and design to installation and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have a solid mechanical aptitude, experience with 3D modeling and 2D CAD design, and a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will work closely with Sales, Production, and Installation teams, ensuring timely project delivery, excellent customer service, and seamless system commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage system layouts and 3D models/drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Generate utilities drawings and other project-related documentation, including submittals and O&M manuals.
Oversee fabrication and design parts for both in-house and outsourced production.
Coordinate installation crews, working on-site to manage installation, commissioning, and end-user training.
Lead weekly production, project kickoff, and project closing meetings to ensure timelines are met.
Assist with procurement and order management of equipment and materials.
Communicate effectively with customers to manage expectations and system specifications.
Handle special tasks such as interfacing with insurance brokers or completing government forms when required.
Qualifications & Skills:
2+ years of Project Management experience, ideally in the construction or industrial equipment field.
Proficient in SolidWorks (3D modeling) and AutoCAD (2D design).
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with electrical systems and PLCs is a plus.
Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills-able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow through on intricate project elements.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for internal and external stakeholder interactions.
Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field (higher degrees preferred).
3D printing experience and knowledge of electrical control systems are advantageous.
Must be willing to travel for site visits, installations, and system commissioning.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license for the duration of employment.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
