Description:
We are seeking a Cyber Security & IT Diligence Specialist who values excellence to handle the day-to-day functions for the Company in the areas of Cyber Security, IT & Operational Due Diligence (including SOC 2 Audits), and Network Help Desk and Administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the Company's 3rd Party Cyber Security firm for ongoing cyber testing and oversight, company due diligence relating to system and operational controls and standard information gathering related to systems and data protection. Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience in computer & network administration, including computer Help Desk assistance to colleagues throughout the Company. The position will report to Amplify Management and will provide status reporting to Amplify Senior Management as requested.
Job responsibilities:
Work closely with Amplify's 3rd party cyber security firm on penetration testing and vulnerability scanning & carry out areas for improvement through remediation.
Work closely with Amplify's 3rd party cyber security firm to review their overall CIS Assessment of Amplify & carry out areas for improvement through remediation.
Research and recommend System Information Gathering (SIG) software for licensing by Amplify.
Work with Amplify management & staff and utilize the SIG software staff to complete the SIG and have ready for any internal or external request.
Work with Amplify management & staff and Amplify's 3rd Party Auditors to help oversee the completion of SOC 2 Type 1 & Type 2 audits.
Regarding network administration, installing, configuring, managing network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches. This includes a fundamental understanding of network security, protecting networks from unauthorized users, replanning networks to meet changing organizational requirements, and optimizing networks for maximum efficiency.
Regarding system administration, installing and configuring hardware and software, including operating systems and applications. This includes maintaining network and computer system security, including implementing security controls and following organizational security policies, managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights, and diagnosing and resolving problems when alerted by a user or an automated monitoring system.
Work with all Amplify Team members to oversee the documentation of due diligence controls to address all areas noted within this job description.
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of experience in Cyber Security, SIG, SOC and IT due diligence documentation.
Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred.
Understanding of technical platforms & software.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing (particularly for policy & process drafting and with all levels of Amplify management & staff).
