Compensation:
1st year: $105,000 base + 10% bonus (while in training)
2nd year: $125-140K OTE
3rd year: >$150K
What You Will Do:
Responsible for meeting mutually agreed upon deadlines as well as ensuring accurate analyses and professional deliverables. This will include graphics created in a Geographic Information System (GIS) as well as full reports describing the airspace height constraints overlying a particular project. As a part of training, will learn GIS basics as well as airspace design utilizing FAA Terminal Instrument Procedures (TERPS).
Work closely with analytical team to ensure on-time delivery, accuracy and solutions for complex projects requiring mitigation to resolve airspace impacts
Analyze airspace height constraints protecting for visual flight rules (VFR) and instrument flight rules (IFR) operations
Create graphics depicting results and implications for the project
Draft technical reports describing the results of an airspace analysis
Brief clients on the results of an airspace analysis
Ability to research (position requires reviewing historical documents and federal, state and local regulations)
Education and Work Experience
REQUIRED: US Military experience (Officer/Enlisted)
Must have analytical aptitude (Python, etc), technical project management skills
Must be able to handle multiple projects at a time. Likes doing research, coming up with a solution, and presenting findings.
Experience in aviation (Military Pilot or air traffic controller highly preferred, but not required
