Our client has an immediate need for an ERP Systems Analyst, who will be responsible for being a Finance subject matter expert on finance-related systems and act as a liaison with the IT department in Finance system implementations as well as support the Finance Department primarily in the areas of accounting and shared services utilizing Financial ERP Systems
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Financial systems, Accounting, or a related discipline
Three (3+) or more years of relevant experience
Experience with Oracle AP or UltiPro (preferred), or other financial ERP systems
Accounting Knowledge: Basic understanding of financial terms (debit/credit) and activities
Technical Support: Experience supporting financial systems and resolving technical issues, including troubleshooting, system integration, and working closely with IT
Excel Expertise: Strong skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
SharePoint: Experience creating workflows and acting as an admin
Prior experience in banking or with Oracle support is a plus
Familiarity with reporting tools like BI Publisher (Oracle) is a plus
Responsibilities:
Provide systems support for the Finance Department, focusing on Oracle AP and UltiPro (payroll system)
Assist with data uploads, system reconciliation, resolving tickets, and supporting financial close processes
Navigate financial systems, maintain backend tables and charts of accounts
Serve as first-level support, escalating issues to IT or the Oracle team as needed
Handle sensitive payroll-related data with integrity and confidentiality
Collaborate closely with IT, ensuring smooth data flow between financial systems and others
Performs first-level support of specific financial systems applications
Activities include problem investigation and resolution, solution design, application acceptance testing, reports creation, and validation
Acts as a liaison with third-party vendors, the IT department, and Finance and Accounting users
