The Operations Analyst will implement, maintain, and improve processes while utilizing various systems to ensure the timely and accurate completion of Operations tasks and analysis for the nearly 2 million residential and small commercial energy customers across our clients United States North and Texas and Canadian lines of business. This role primarily focuses on, but is not limited to, the Remittance, Incentive Fulfillment, and Vendor Feedback functions of Operations.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: • Perform cross-functionally to proactively identify, document, and assist in the development of processes and gaps • Execute daily processing tasks while working and minimizing exceptions • Use root cause analysis to identify solutions to exceptions, errors, and process gaps • Interpret complex data and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders and third parties • Ensure business requirements and regulations are met and implemented in daily tasks and exception handling, designing, and maintaining a quality control process • Provide user support for applications, projects, and processes • Generate routine and ad hoc reports, using them to drive results and performance • Effectively coordinate workload and needs based on competing priorities • Communicate the upstream and downstream impact of each task, with an emphasis on making connections and seeing "the big picture" • Use a proactive and positive approach to research and analyze complex business problems to a timely and accurate conclusion, recognizing warnings • Conduct cost-benefit and efficiency analysis with emphasis on consistently improving processes • Post remittances and investigate remittance exceptions, guaranteeing all are posted in full and to appropriate accounts • Work closely with multiple vendors to identify and correct incentive fulfillment issues and other concerns • Review daily reports, identifying and actioning anomalies
Responsibilities: Product development - Work with business and IT to implement new products and programs (Refer a Friend)
UAT - Master how the program works operationally
Documentation - Can map out the process
Post production monitoring and issue resolution - Can identify trends and anomalies. Help build controls and reports to monitor program behavior and detect anomalies
Can present accomplishments and lessons learned to leadership on a weekly/monthly basis
