Pride Health is hiring a Help Desk Support Technician for one of its clients in Colorado.
This is a 6-month contract with a possible extension with competitive pay and benefits.
Location - Aurora, Colorado (80045)
Pay range - $25 - $28 per hour on W2.
Length of assignment - 6 months (With possible extension)
Shift - 8:00 a-4:30 p Monday - Friday
Job Summary
The Help Desk Support Technician provides essential technical support to hospital staff in a dynamic 24/7 environment. This role involves troubleshooting various hardware and software issues, ensuring efficient operation of company-supported applications, and maintaining documentation of support requests and incidents.
Job Duties
Deliver high-quality phone support to hospital staff regarding all company-supported applications and technologies.
Document and track all support requests and incidents in the support system.
Monitor and manage peripherals and related telecommunications systems used within the organization.
Perform basic troubleshooting for Windows and Apple devices, mobile devices, and network issues.
Assist users with Microsoft applications, ensuring they can efficiently utilize available resources.
Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues and improve support processes.
Requirements
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Experience with Active Directory and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Certifications:
CompTIA A+ certification.
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification(s) preferred.
Skills:
Proficient in basic troubleshooting for Windows, Apple, and mobile devices.
Familiarity with networking concepts and Microsoft applications.
Ability to type a minimum of 20 words per minute.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced healthcare environment requiring the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
Availability for occasional after-hours support may be required.
