Job Description:

The qualified candidate must be self-motivated, attentive to details, and will possess well-developed problem-solving skills. He or she will possess all the required skills below. He or she must be able to multitask, work in a fast-paced software development environment with a focus on quality as well assisting in business analysis. He or she must be able to interact with the internal project team and external customers to fully understand new features and enhancements. He or she must have the ability to prepare/review business requirements documents, release documents, user manuals and ensure overall accuracy of all project deliverables. He or she must also act as a mentor to other teammates, provide leadership for small to medium size projects and can motivate, thus creating a high performing cross functional team.

Required Skills:
• Strong business analysis skills, including gathering requirements, analyzing requirements for feasibility and functionality, performing gap analysis, etc.
• Skilled in writing SQL queries for better understanding the data elements and structure.
• Proficiency with SQL database.
• Familiar with relational databases concepts and processes.
• Ability to write business specifications as per requirements for clients.
• Experience working in SDLC phases like Requirements, Analysis/Design, Development, Testing and Maintenance.
• Superior organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong proven capacity to function objectively, independently and to employ "out of the box" thinking as it relates to developing test cases and performing ad-hoc testing.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills of the English language
• Gather and analyze requirements for workflow automation.
• Proficiency with technical writing.
• Create UI mockups & work-flow visual diagrams.
• Translate and break requirement into work-items.
• Exposure to software development methodologies, practices, and tools (SDLC, Waterfall, Jira).
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools.
• Help/review technical team with use case scenarios.
• Collaborate with technical team to ensure the development aligns with requirement.
• Conduct JAD sessions with users.

Education Requirements:
• BS/BA from a four year nationally accredited university or college.

Minimum Experience:
• At least 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
