Remote

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Project/Program Manager to join our Fortune 50 Healthcare client and lead key productivity initiatives across the enterprise, supporting complex, high-impact programs. This role involves driving deliverables across various workstreams with IT Leaders and collaborating with finance leaders who may lack formal project management experience. The ideal candidate will have significant enterprise experience, strong financial acumen, and the ability to enforce governance and prioritization while ensuring productivity goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Program Management for Enterprise Productivity Initiatives: Oversee major productivity programs from inception through execution, ensuring that workstreams meet deliverables and track their success.
  • Drive High-Impact Programs: Manage high-impact deliverables that span across various departments, ensuring alignment with business objectives. These programs are complex, requiring a hands-on approach rather than being tied to a single technical focus.
  • Governance & Accountability: Implement governance, establish standards, and create accountability across workstreams to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Finance Workstream Leadership: Collaborate closely with finance teams, providing expert program management and white-glove guidance, ensuring progress despite their lack of project management experience.
  • Support Workstream Reporting: Act as the liaison between finance and other teams, facilitating weekly reporting and deliverable tracking, and supporting overall execution.
  • Facilitate Ceremonies & Risk Management: Support Program Executive Office (PEO) ceremonies, including action item tracking, risk management, change management, and communication plans.
  • Manage Productivity Data Repository: Although secondary to the primary role, oversee the management of the productivity data repository, ensuring it aligns with program objectives.
  • Tools and Documentation: Create executive-level PowerPoint presentations, manage Excel-based reports, and maintain SharePoint sites to document and track project progress.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 7+ years of project or program management experience, with a proven track record in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial processes and experience managing finance-related workstreams.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple complex workstreams across various departments.
  • Consultant Mindset: Able to provide hands-on, white-glove support to senior leaders and guide them through productivity initiatives.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly articulate complex concepts and ensure stakeholder alignment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) frameworks.
  • Tools: Expertise in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.

Desired Skills:
  • Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or other project management certifications are highly desirable. Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and governance skills, with the ability to create accountability across diverse workstreams.
  • Process Improvement: Experience in implementing process improvements and establishing enterprise-wide productivity frameworks.
