Job Title: IT Support Specialist (SAP Experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Support Specialist with expertise in SAP to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to RPG Employees for all hardware, software and SAP related issues. You will work closely with various departments to ensure the smooth operation of SAP systems and resolve any technical challenges that arise

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer prompt and professional technical support to RPG Employees, addressing issues related to SAP applications, modules, and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot SAP Issues: Diagnose, analyze, and resolve SAP-related problems, including system errors, configuration issues, and user access concerns.
  • User Training: Conduct training sessions for employees to enhance their proficiency in SAP, ensuring they can effectively utilize the system's features and functionalities.
  • System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and updates of SAP systems, including applying patches, updates, and conducting routine checks to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team, SAP consultants, and other departments to identify and implement improvements to SAP systems and processes.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of SAP configurations, troubleshooting steps, and common issues to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Incident Management: Log, prioritize, and manage support tickets related to SAP, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and best practices to continually enhance support services and system performance.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure all SAP-related activities adhere to company policies, security protocols, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on SAP systems.
  • Proficiency in SAP Business One modules and various add-ons such as Boyum Usability Package, Print & Delivery, iPayment, EBiz Credit Card Management, WiSys WMS, SANA E-Commerce, etc.

Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of SAP architecture, including user roles, authorizations, and system configuration.
  • Familiarity with IT support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving SAP- related issues.

Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: SAP certification in relevant modules.
  • Experience: Previous experience in SAP functions, implementations and addon implementations.
