Position Description:

Our client (Global Leading Public Health Organization) is seeking a passionate and talented IT Project Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate for this role is skilled in developing and implementing business processes. They excel in resource management, ensuring projects are completed within budget, timelines, and quality standards.

Qualifications for the Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in delivering high-value IT projects or hands-on project management in a complex IT environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong planning and scheduling abilities to meet time and quality targets.
  • Experience in facilitating collaboration among stakeholders with shared objectives.
  • Knowledgeable in selecting appropriate standards, methods, tools, and applications for project needs.
  • Proficient in seeking specialist advice to support work and that of colleagues.
  • Experience in developing and implementing stakeholder engagement and communication plans.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, managing resolutions, and documenting lessons learned.
  • Ability to collect and utilize feedback from customers and stakeholders to assess stakeholder management effectiveness.
  • Proven track record in building and enhancing customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects within agreed scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and facilitation skills, with a strong ability to manage client expectations.

Summary of Duties:
  • Take full responsibility for defining, approaching, facilitating, and completing medium to large-scale projects with direct business impact and firm deadlines.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks to ensure project success.
  • Maintain realistic project plans and ensure regular communication with stakeholders.
  • Adopt appropriate project management methodologies (predictive or adaptive).
  • Ensure quality reviews are conducted on schedule and according to procedures.
  • Manage the change control process, ensuring project deliverables meet agreed costs, timelines, and resource budgets.
  • Provide effective leadership to the project team and address performance deviations.
  • Monitor and control resources, revenue, and project costs against the budget while managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensure end results are high-quality, with a clearly articulated scope and quantifiable business benefits.
  • Lead projects involving multiple internal and external partners.
  • Manage project scope and risks to achieve commitments within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.
  • Monitor, control, and validate financial forecasts and expenditures in alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop communication plans and appropriate vehicles for execution.
  • Represent the project in briefings to sponsors, key stakeholders, governance, and inter-department forums.
  • Define and track project milestones while maintaining and reporting on an integrated project schedule and delivery plan.
  • Develop key project management artifacts, including the project charter, integrated project plan, resource plan, risk plan, and periodic project status reports.
