Key Responsibilities * Assist the Human Resources team with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and compliance * Assist with benefits administration, leave programs, answering questions related to benefits and open enrollment * Full cycle recruitment and onboarding * Employee relations, disputes, terminations and investigations * Assist with all payroll related activities and inquiries * Respond to HR inquiries and assist with communication of employee requests * Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations * Work collaboratively with the HR team to achieve results related to company initiatives * Demonstrate and promote core values and company culture
Qualifications * Bachelor's degree and SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred * Knowledge of employment laws and regulations * Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft office Suite * Manufacturing and/or union environment experience is preferred but not required * Experience working with different HR Functions including employee relations, benefits administration, recruiting and talent acquisition, training and development, compensation, onboarding and orientation * Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with a high degree of accuracy, problem-solving skills, adaptability, confidentiality * The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and enjoys interacting with the employees at the organization
Compensation * This is a direct hire position with salary range of 60-70k with flexibility depending on experience * This position offers growth potential and the ability to work within the different HR functions * Benefits include health, vision, dental plans which include fully paid options, as well as life insurance, short-term disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match contributions.
