The Analyst is responsible for analysis and reporting related to an entry-level portfolio of CMBS deals. Duties include CREFC Reporting, billing for Special Servicing Fees, and researching deal and loan level documents.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and research the Prospectus and Pooling and Servicing Agreement (PSA) for all assigned deals. Prepare or review the Deal Research Summary for each assigned deal.
Prepare monthly CREFC Special Servicer reports in accordance with published guidelines. Work with other departments to obtain missing information and resolve outstanding issues.
Prepare monthly Compensation Reports for Special Servicing fees. Work with Master Servicers as necessary to ensure proper collection of fees.
Prepare Appraisal Reduction Amount (ARA) and Realized Loss calculations in accordance with PSA specifications.
Review and abstract Fee Share Agreements, setup calculation templates, and calculate monthly fee share amounts.
Prepare Purchase Price Calculations, Prepayment Calculations, and Appraisal Control Calculations as needed.
Identify and research Companion Loan documents, including Inter-Creditor and Co-Lender Agreements.
Establish contact with the Master Servicer and Trustee concerning issues uncovered. Work with IR&A managers to resolve more complex issues.
Perform monthly servicing fee reconciliations. Monitor the collection and reporting of fees for all assigned deals, follow up on any inaccuracies and variances.
Review information prepared or provided by other departments to ensure that cash flow is reported appropriately.
Reconcile outstanding Advances, ASERs and Trust Expenses on Specially Serviced loans.
Provide support as needed on various ad-hoc tasks and assist other department members as needed.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field.
Minimum of one-year relevant experience with securitized loans or in a similar analytical role preferred.
