We are a successful, privately owned business, selling, servicing, and installing heavy-duty shop equipment/vehicle lift systems. We are seeking an experienced?hands-on?Manager for our Fairfax, Virginia office. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our organization, ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively to meet our business goals. You will be the face of the company, working closely with the Owner. This is a hands-on position that requires involvement in day-to-day details.
Responsibilities • Reports to owner. • Establish and monitor the performance goals of the company through verification and analysis of financial reports, ensure that all goals are being met. • Maintain a deep knowledge of the automotive/heavy duty shop equipment industry and market to determine best growth areas for the company. • Manage and lead Sales and Service staff. • Review and approve all bid packages prior to being submitted to the customer. • Continue business growth by increasing sales and controlling operating cost. • Manage compliance to all government and safety regulations. • Update Owner on regular basis.
Position Requirements • Five years hands on experience in an equipment-based company in the bus, automotive, construction, or transportation related industries. • Have an entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills. • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
