Position Summary: Our client seeks an experienced and motivated Senior Development Manager to join their Houston team. They have over $3 billion in industrial projects, and this role will work across the Texas market. The ideal candidate will have a civil engineering background and a comprehensive understanding of complex large acreage land acquisitions, industrial design, and entitlements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and oversee multiple land pursuits across Texas.
Manage consultants and perform due diligence on potential development sites, including feasibility studies and risk assessments.
Coordinate closely with the construction team to ensure smooth project execution from inception to completion.
Engage with clients and stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring
client satisfaction.
Navigate the entitlement process, securing necessary permits and approvals for development projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
7-15+ years of experience in commercial real estate development, with a strong emphasis on industrial projects.
Solid understanding of the entitlement process and experience in due diligence.
Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and work effectively through incentives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
Ability to travel as required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
