We seek a highly skilled Building Automation Project Executive to lead and manage complex automation projects across commercial and industrial facilities in Los Angeles. This role is ideal for a professional with extensive Building Automation Systems (BAS) expertise, including project management, design, and implementation. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of control systems such as Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, and Schneider Electric and experience in AutoCAD, BACnet, and DDC controls.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS), focusing on optimizing HVAC, lighting, and energy systems.
Manage project lifecycles from planning through execution, ensuring all projects meet or exceed performance standards, timelines, and financial targets.
Lead a team of engineers and subcontractors in deploying BAS technologies such as Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, Schneider Electric, and Alerton.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables, ensuring seamless communication and alignment with client expectations.
Maintain robust compliance with industry standards and local codes, delivering projects that enhance operational efficiency and sustainability.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience in Building Automation, Project Management, or related roles in the mechanical construction industry.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. EIT or PE license is a plus.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, BACnet, and DDC controls.
Demonstrated experience with BAS platforms such as Tridium Niagara, ALC, Distech, Alerton, and Schneider Electric.
Proven leadership skills in managing teams, projects, and client relationships.
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Local and stable work history demonstrating a commitment to project success.
Preferred Experience
Familiarity with Bluebeam, Trimble AutoBid, and Autodesk products like Revit and Navisworks is an advantage.
Experience working in complex commercial, industrial, or medical gas environments.
