The Mechanical Inspector is responsible for ensuring that the Project Quality Plan is developed and implemented in conjunction with the Project Execution Plan. This role will promote quality awareness throughout the organization, emphasizing excellence, continuous improvement, and corrective action to influence the overall success of the company's business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review specifications, procedures, and standards used on the construction site
Conduct mechanical testing on equipment and piping
Inspect, witness, or verify to ensure the quality of materials, structures, or systems
Conduct factory acceptance tests of installations and equipment
Monitor mechanical systems of plant equipment before and during installation
Organize and implement record retention systems
REQUIREMENTS
7+ years of on-site inspection experience in mechanical and piping inspection during construction
10+ years of experience in Industrial construction experience required
