The Protective Intelligence Analyst, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will be a vital member of the Investigations and Threat Management team. Through strategic analysis and in-depth assessments, this role spearheads open-source investigations, monitors potential threats, and evaluates risks that could adversely impact the client's employees, assets, and brand integrity. By delivering timely, concise intelligence reports furnished with practical recommendations, the Analyst plays a key role in informing and guiding the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to implement effective risk mitigation strategies. The Analyst utilizes a proactive approach, anticipating security challenges, and providing the GSOC with actionable insights essential to maintaining safety and operational continuity in a complex risk landscape.
Essential Functions:
Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
Conduct open-source intelligence gathering and investigations to support protective intelligence initiatives.
Analyze and assess travel risks, event security, and executive protection needs to ensure the safety of the client's personnel and operations.
Research and provide insights on emerging threats identified by internal partners and determine potential impact on the organization.
Develop and implement intelligence collection plans to collect pertinent data on potential and actual threats that could affect the organization while drawing insights to inform the investigations and threat management team's priorities.
Utilize advanced analytical techniques and software to conduct threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments and provide critical support to investigations to ensure findings are clearly articulated and relevant to ongoing cases.
Serve as a liaison between the protective intelligence unit and the GSOC and offer real-time intelligence updates which enable rapid decision-making and response coordination during critical incidents.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of threat actor profiles and databases to improve the organization's understanding of potential adversaries to enhance the effectiveness of investigative analysis and the subsequent threat response.
Coordinate with the investigations and threat management team to ensure that intelligence-related activities align with broader security goals and assist in the development of security plans and emergency response procedures.
Facilitate and lead intelligence briefings for the GSOC and investigations team and foster a culture of information-sharing, collaboration, and informed threat assessment and management.
Engage in specialized research concerning industry-specific threats by integrating findings into the broader context of organizational risk and conveying relevant information to the investigations and threat management team for a unified security approach.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Salary & Benefits Information: Rate of pay: $110000 / year.
