KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – TOMAHAWK MACHINE OPERATOR

• Ability to build strong relationships, provide excellent customer service, and problem solve
• Must be capable of cleaning with chemicals using protective gear
• Capable of learning the function and design of different machines.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, leads and Supervisors.
• Ability to work independently and follow written instructions
• Must be capable of reading and writing in English
• May be exposed to potential allergens
• Must be able to work safely in potentially slippery conditions
• Must be capable of climbing ladders and/or stairs.
• Review Spec Cards before set up (product, plate, and raw weight).
• Inspect all shadow boards and knife count for tool accountability.
• Set up and dial in tomahawks, belts, and metal detectors to ensure quality and safe product is made.
• Manage Factory Computer data and input information correctly.
• Manage Tomahawk settings and troubleshoot to ensure product appearance and weight is accurate.
• Manage Metal Detector settings and troubleshoot to ensure all metal wands are detected and distance is accurate.
• May be exposed to potential allergens.

• BRC Compliance
• Reporting accuracy
• Customer requirements
• Attendance requirements met

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS – TOMAHAWK MACHINE OPERATOR

• Able of cleaning with chemicals using protective gear.
• Capable of learning the function and design of different machines.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, leads and Supervisors.
• Ability to work independently and follow written instructions.
• May be exposed to potential allergens.
• Must be able to work safely in potentially slippery conditions.
• Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• This position is an onsite position.
