Facilities Management is an integral element of the Business Affairs team and serves to create, maintain, and continuously improve the William & Mary physical environment to enable excellence in teaching, research, and public service.
Provide for coordination of support services functions. These include major event management and coordination, provide facilities inspection services to academic classrooms, and act as a Work Control Coordinator.
This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime pay for hours worked over 40, upon preapproval from supervisor.
This position is subject to overtime and schedule changes and may be required to work shifts during weekends, holidays and special events. This position has been designated as essential and will require reporting to work when the university is officially closed.

Demonstrate strong managerial and leadership qualities.
Demonstrate an ability to work effectively with a diverse customer base.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to coordinate varied activities and to coordinate events. Demonstrated working knowledge of computers and computer programs; ability to create reports from data collected. Ability to work in varied environments; must have excellent communication skills. Working knowledge of facilities management related principles and methods.
A working knowledge in use of computerized maintenance management software (CMMS), and of facilities condition planning database software.

Remote work eligibility is not guaranteed and is subject to approval. Employee eligibility depends on the likelihood of the employee succeeding in a remote work arrangement and the supervisor's ability to manage remote workers. Departments and/or Human Resources may amend, alter, change, delete, or modify eligibility.
Up to $43,000; commensurate with experience.
All hiring rates are commensurate with relevant experience up to the advertised amount considering internal alignment.
