Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Reservations Managerto join the leadership team in Park City !

With 150 rooms, 4,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets, this award-winning Forbes 4-Star boutique property offers elevated comfort food inspired by mountain regions from around the world. This includes a 3-meal restaurant, seasonal pool restaurant, and in-room dining.

In this role, you will play a vital role in overseeing the reservations process and operations, ensuring our guests receive outstanding service and experiences.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. Previous experience in a similar role and an understanding of hotel reservation systems and procedures are essential. OnQ and Delphi FDC knowledge would be beneficial.

What will I be doing?

As a Reservations Manager, you would be responsible for managing the reservations process and operation in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Manage daily Reservations processes and operations to include, but not limited to, room inventory and availability, group rooming lists and blocks, cut-off dates and restrictions, occupancy, selling guest rooms, systems use and management,department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation
• Manage and communicate information regarding hotel occupancy, promotion, special reservation procedures, operational issues and special events
• Serve as liaison with Reservations teams company-wide
• Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations, providing professional development and delivering recognition and reward
• Recruit, interview and train team members within the department and outside the department (example Front Office, Concierge etc.)
• Calculate, prepare and generate designated reports, including, but not limited to OAR and Master Monthly
• 21Day Forecast
