Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc. is searching for a motivated Warranty & Root Cause Technician to join our rapidly evolving team!

The Warranty & Root Cause Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and documenting potential transmission assembly defects using test data and previous repair history as a guide. The Root Cause Technician must be able to read and follow hydraulic circuit schematics, mechanical power flow, and electrical components. The Root Cause Technician should be able to lift (20-50lbs) to perform their job.

Warranty and Root Cause Core Responsibilities

• 
  Troubleshoot and Repair: Identify and repair issues in transmission assemblies as needed.


• 
  Inspection and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough inspections and diagnose transmission problems.


• 
  Accurate Documentation: Consistently and accurately log all findings.


• 
  Effective Communication: Communicate findings with supervisors and/or production, engineering, and quality personnel as required.


• 
  Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work area, including tools, test equipment, and computers.


• 
  Continuous Learning: Stay updated on product and process changes.


• 
  Safety Compliance: Adhere to all required safety guidelines and procedures.

Warranty & Root Cause Technician Job Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Proficiency with basic hand tools, including powered impact wrenches and torque wrenches.


• Basic computer skills.


• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.


• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.


• Ability to work independently.


• Self-motivation.


• Ability to read and follow work instructions and support documents.

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual (Spanish/English).


• Experience with Microsoft Office (Access and Excel).


• Experience in automotive, machinery, or electronics repair (work or equivalent).


• Ability to read hydraulic and/or electrical diagrams.


• Proficiency in using a multimeter or ohmmeter.


• Previous experience in automatic transmission repair (work or equivalent).
