Job Description:

The Clinical Leader Registered Nurse manages all aspects of the nursing process and the delivery of patient and family centered care. The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and authority to request and use governing and administrative resources, technological and support systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts necessary to manage and deliver quality, cost effective patient care. Excels as a staff nurse. Functions as a clinical role model and nursing leader while implementing, developing and evaluating standards of patient care.



Qualifications

• Requires intense attention and concentration.


• Good visual, verbal, hearing skills, analytical and problem solving skills.


• Ability to effectively interact with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds in a rapidly changing environment.


• BLS certification required biannual renewal will be provided.


• Minimum of 2+ years experience in an inpatient care. Clinical competence in appropriate area of nursing practice. Other requirements are dependent on type/current needs of the unit.


• Managerial and leadership experience is preferred.


• Completion of a Nursing Degree required


• BS in Nursing preferred


• Current license as a RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
