Purchasing Manager
We are looking for a detail-oriented supply chain professional to manage the supply chain for our company.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy.Define, install, and maintain business system parameters and requirements.Collaborate with Product Engineers, Sales, and Operations to determine supply chain solutions from a technical and business perspective.Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.Negotiate terms and prices with suppliers.Set stocking levels to run a lean, but sufficient inventory level to meet company requirements.Perform periodic risk assessments of the supplier base to identify, correct and/or mitigate weaknesses in the supply chain.Maintain supplier redundancy where needed to eliminate supply chain disruptions or to maintain a competitive advantage.Ensure all materials are purchase at the most competitive price while ensuring stocking levels remain within target range.
Requirements:
Degree in Supply Chain Management, similar field, and/or relevant experience.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills.Excellent organizational and project management skills.The ability to work as a team.
