Role:
The primary purpose of the Regional Business Development Manager position is to lead by example to identify, develop and promote future corporate business opportunities to grow and expand the Commercial Kitchen Equipment business. This role must develop staff skills and propagate strong business networks. The Regional Business Development Manager's goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and building strong relationships with clients.

Build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships
Develop a growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction
Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements
Arrange business meeting with prospective customers
Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners
Discover and explores business opportunities
Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials
Evaluate options and resolve internal priorities
Conduct research to identity new markets and customer needs and recommend equity investments
Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations
Examine risks and potentials for the business opportunities
Estimate partners' needs and goals
Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations
Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
Enhance organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople and track individual contributors and their accomplishments
Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Qualifications

Education and Experience:
Proven work experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or relevant role
BS/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field
3+ years of related experience required
Previous sales planning experience and proven sales track record
Previous territory management Experience
Previous experience in HVAC Industry or other service business preferred
Previous experience in customer support is a plus

Continuously able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printer
