This position conducts real estate administration activities for the tactical, strategic and program support within CRE and with Business Unit clients on real estate initiatives. This role involves managing the planning, design, and construction of various types of infrastructure improvements including Mechanical and Electrical systems and renovations of existing spaces within a variety of building types to optimize employee work productivity, guarantee infrastructure reliability while controlling cost. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, architecture, construction management, or real estate development, with the ability to oversee projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:
  • Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

Design Oversight:
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to develop design concepts based off scope of work developed internally or by client.
  • Review and approve design plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.

Construction Supervision:
  • Oversee construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Manage contractor relationships

Financial Management:
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates, financial reporting, and forecasting.
  • Approve project expenditures and ensure financial compliance.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.

Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate project status and milestones.

Technology:
  • Utilize various corporate and organizational systems to report and update budget, scope of work, schedule and other adds or changes to the project

Other Expectations:
  • May have 24/7 responsibility to respond to emergency situations. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.


Education: Typically HS Diploma or equivalent is needed.

Experience: Typically 2 to 5 years relevant experience in area of responsibility.

Supervisory: No.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Mgmt or Construction Project Management
  • Education Desirable: Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Prefer 1-3 years of experience in real estate design and construction management.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Other qualifications: PMP Certification, PE, FMA Certification - If you have the PM Certification, please list it on your Resume.


Environmental Requirements:

This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&Ts compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.

Our Senior Specialist Real Estate Managers earn between $70,700 - $106,100 of TSR. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
