Job Summary

Comcast Ventures is hiring a Platform Manager for our NYC office. The Platform Manager will work with the entire Comcast Ventures team, our portfolio of startup founders, and colleagues across Comcast NBCUniversal and will be focused on internal and external events, marketing, business development and other portfolio support functions, as well as management of the Comcast Ventures Advisory Board. They will be a key member of the team and ambassador for the Ventures group both internally and externally. This role is for a community builder who is excited about making and nurturing connections within the startup and venture community as well as cultivating relationships within Comcast NBCUniversal.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:


  • End to end event planning and execution for Comcast Ventures events across the U.S.


  • Planning and managing Comcast Ventures' insights sharing and portfolio events, both virtual and in-person, within Comcast NBCUniversal.


  • Management of Comcast Ventures' website and social channels, in collaboration with Corporate Communications.


  • Assistance in planning and coordinating speaking engagements, blog posts, etc. for members of the Comcast Ventures team, in collaboration with Corporate Communications.


  • Portfolio support, including business development, job postings and marketing support.


  • Active management of and participation in the Comcast Ventures Advisory Board, which includes executives from across Comcast NBCUniversal.


  • Conceptualizing and launching new opportunities to proactively develop and promote platform value-add offerings for our portfolio companies and stakeholders within Comcast NBCUniversal.


  • Measure and communicate the impact of our platform activities and initiatives, using data-driven insights and feedback.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience


  • Education level: Bachelor's degree


  • Located in NYC, with occasional travel

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $129,140.29 - $193,710.44

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
