JOB RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Manage Customer/Vendor Relationships- Develop collaborative professional relationships with department/division, client group, vendors and key stakeholders. Facilitate a productive working relationship between the department/division and Information Services.



  • Analysis- Respond to systems related requests from the department/division. Document issue resolution. Provide feedback to users on how to avoid consistent errors. Analyze issues and identify trends. Develop solutions for long-term resolution of complex issues. Work with department/division to understand reporting needs. Prepares statistical summaries and reports. Develop moderately complex to complex reports through efficient use of various tools available.



  • Technical Support- Serve as liaison between the department and Information Services. Participate in the execution of test scripts to validate systems implementations and modifications.



  • Design and Development- Consult with department/division to determine system requirements. Design, develop, implement and support technical solutions that will increase the efficiency of the department/division. Assess and understand the downstream impact of changes in technology. Communicate the impact of these changes to departmental staff. Evaluate current systems for quality/utilization. Evaluate department/division training needs. Assist with the development of training strategies, standards and objectives. Prepare oral and written presentations for training purposes. Conduct training as needed. Design, write and prepare complete user documentation for department/division systems, including system training manuals.



  • Project Management- Manage large projects related to department/division systems or in support of organization-wide systems projects. Develop and manage project plan to ensure timely completion of the project as needed for department/division projects. Identify and set project task priorities. Facilitate teams and lead activities of others assigned to project. Develop presentations and communicate project status to key stakeholders. Evaluate and determine proper method of training delivery for new implementations or modifications. Escalate issues to management with potential solutions. Document business processes and technical requirements. Find innovative ways to improve efficiency of department/division processes and software. Participate in improving organizational performance through recommending areas of approaches for improvement activities, performing new procedures, collecting data, etc.





JOB QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field


  • 5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
