Volt is immediately hiring for Manufacturing Technician in West Columbia, South Carolina.



As a Manufacturing Technician you will:



  • Performs a variety of general functions associated with all manufacturing operations.
  • Works with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks.
  • Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
  • Performs rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.
  • Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.
  • Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.


This is a full-time opportunity.


The ideal candidate will have:
  • Awareness of technologies/ techniques.
  • Demonstrates basic functional and/or process knowledge and participates in process.
  • Requires basic competency related to function.
  • Demonstrates technical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and draw and interpret graphs.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience.



Pay Rate: 18.00 per hour (1st Shift Monday - Friday 730a-405p)
