Building Information Modeling Engineer III (BIM)- due to growth "New position"-Digital transformation of the company
Job Duties
Create a digital drawing of the Industrial Manufacturing facility of the company
Creating the campus layout (3D)-Layout for facility & production equipment side; Working with manufacturing engineer team to tie all the models creating into process modeling software.
Supporting current building projects (100,000 SQ building in planning)- create the models on the construction side working with architects so can work with general contractors. Coordinate the drawing can implement in 3D canvas layout
Creating & Manage BIM Building standard for company
Must Have
Building Information Modeling (BIM) Certificate
Work Experience in Industrial Manufacturing
RIVIT model
Preferred:
Degree (**Work Experience in Industrial Manufacturing is more important than Degree)
Work experience 10 years in construction
AutoCAD & Autodesk
Job Summary:
The BIM Engineer will implement BIM standards, offer technical expertise, and support The Company's digital transformation of facilities and production processes.
Essential Duties:
Implement BIM modeling technology.
Establish BIM model standards.
Resolve BIM technology issues.
Create digital twins of facilities.
Modify factory layouts using scanning technology.
Coordinate BIM projects.
Update BIM project documents.
Analyze design for projects.
Coordinate BIM models for construction and SCADA/BMS applications.
Identify and resolve design conflicts.
Review consultant drawings and models.
Maintain large building models.
Support layout changes and equipment design.
Report hazardous conditions.
Maintain safe work areas.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Familiarity with Revit and Navisworks.
BIM technology experience.
Digital Twin creation and SCADA integration.
Strong 3D modeling and AutoCAD skills.
5+ years Revit and Autodesk experience.
BIM and Autodesk Certification.
Manufacturing facility knowledge.
Education:
Bachelor's in civil, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
5-7 years manufacturing/production facility experience.
