The Project Controls Cost Scheduler supports field-based operations on large-term projects performing a number of functions including: cost tracking, schedule creation and maintenance, change order management, field reporting, quantitative analysis, database management, drafting and reviewing job cost reports, and helping to maintain customer and vendor files.
Responsibilities
Maintain change order log.
Create, update and manage project schedules.
Generate and audit monthly cost reports.
Review and approve project invoices.
Monitor field timekeeping.
Generate daily/weekly/monthly field reports for clients to monitor labor, equipment and materials.
Maintain equipment tracking logs.
Maintain purchase order log with relevant approval.
Advise on coding and processing for vendor invoices as needed.
Coordinate with the Client, Project Engineer, Accounting, and vendors to gather necessary information.
Excellent customer service skills as a key representative of the company to clients.
Assist in other work areas/task as required.
Required Qualifications
High school graduate or GED equivalent
Minimum of 3 years related work experience
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite-Particularly Excel
Advanced skills in Microsoft Projects/Primavera P6
Valid State ID, Driver's License or government-issued ID
Must have strong time management and multitasking abilities
Must thrive in solving complex problems involving various sources of information
Good communication skills, ability to speak, read and write English
Ability to adhere to strict policy and procedures per company and OSHA requirements
