Key Responsibilities:
Estimating & Project Management: Take the lead on estimating light and heavy gauge metal stud framing and drywall for large-scale commercial projects.
Plan Review & Take-Offs: Analyze construction documents, materials, and specifications; perform detailed take-offs using On-Screen Take Off and Quick Bid software.
Bid Proposals & Negotiation: Prepare professional bids and negotiate effectively to win projects.
Client & Team Collaboration: Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure project success from start to finish.
What We're Looking For:
3+ Years of Construction Estimating Experience: Proven expertise in estimating metal studs and drywall for commercial projects is a must.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with On-Screen Take Off, Quick Bid, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure clear, professional interactions with clients and team members.
Leadership & Follow-Up: Ability to take ownership of projects, follow up diligently, and manage all aspects of project management.
Requirements:
Must reside in Indianapolis, IN or surrounding areas.
A minimum of 3 years experience in construction estimating for commercial projects.
Proficiency in On-Screen Take Off and Quick Bid software.
Hands-on experience with metal studs and drywall projects.
