IAE supports the migration of these two legacy systems onto a new Common Services Platform (CSP) driven by Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and DevOps best practices. The IAE is a presidentially mandated E-Government initiative designed to improve the federal procurement and award processes using innovative technologies.

The candidate will be responsible for Servicenow development on an upgrade of a Servicenow ticketing system for the GSA.

  • ServiceNow Certification is required, such as Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, with a proven track record of implementing and managing complex ServiceNow solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, AngularJS) and development tools.
  • Deep experience working with key ServiceNow modules, such as IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), Security Operations (SecOps), and HR Service Delivery (HRSD).
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, and Web Services.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow data structures and ServiceNow API.
  • Experience with ServiceNow CMDB, including configuration, management, and integration with other ITSM modules.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues within ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience working in an Agile team environment.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices, ideally with ITIL certification.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and effectively translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
