LHH is seeking a Sr. Administrative Assistant for our client's Accounting team to support the department's administrative needs, directly reporting to the Director of Accounting & Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage administrative tasks such as team calendar coordination, meeting scheduling, phone support, and correspondence management.
Assist in preparing budget reviews, variance analyses, and invoice reviews.
Support project management by creating and updating workflows, preparing documentation, and tracking progress to meet team objectives.
Prepare meeting materials, including PowerPoint presentations for executive meetings.
Coordinate special events for the department, such as lunches and team outings.
Manage department expenses and receipts using Concur.
Help organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of administrative experience, ideally within an Accounting or Finance department.
Experience with budget reviews, variance analyses, and invoice reviews is highly preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
Basic knowledge of finance and accounting is preferred but not required.
Detail-oriented with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and problem-solving.
Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining organization and efficiency.
Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with Asana, Slack, and Microsoft Teams is a plus.
Strong ethical standards, with the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
