Job Title: Insurance Billing Specialist

Location: Remote (Local candidates preferred), 2011 N. Soto St, Los Angeles, CA 90032

Department: Medical Enterprise

Number of Positions: 3

Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)

Work Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Interview Process: 2-step video/Teams interview

Dress Code: Business Casual

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and resolve billing edits using Soarian Financials for government and non-government payers.
• Submit claims within 48-72 hours of creation.
• Coordinate rebill requests with internal teams (Compliance, Collections, Audit, etc.).
• Serve as a liaison between Revenue Cycle areas and the billing agency.
• Ensure claims are billed correctly and in compliance with billing and coding guidelines.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in medical insurance billing (preferably facility billing).
• Software: Proficiency with Soarian Financials.
• Skills: Strong understanding of billing and coding for various payers, claim resolution, and excellent coordination/communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Attention to detail, timeliness in processing claims, and professionalism.
