Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic management of real estate assets to maximize property value, enhance cash flow, and oversee key capital initiatives.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of each property's operational challenges, assess performance, and identify areas for improvement.
Manage large-scale capital projects, coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Foster strong relationships with property management teams, proactively addressing issues and ensuring operational standards are met.
Review monthly and quarterly financial reports, comparing actual performance with forecasts to ensure financial accuracy and provide actionable insights.
Develop and oversee annual budgets for operations and capital expenditures, aligning them with overall asset management goals.
Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for various government housing programs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in real estate asset management or finance, with a focus on affordable or workforce housing.
Experience transitioning from property management to asset management is highly desirable.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and create strategic plans.
Excellent communication skills, able to effectively engage with a range of stakeholders, including investors and regulatory bodies.
