Role Profile
We are seeking a skilled Profisee and Databricks Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using Profisee and performing advanced data processing, analytics, and transformation using Databricks. You will collaborate with data architects, business stakeholders, and analysts to ensure data infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and optimized for both operational and analytical purposes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Extensive & recent Profisee MDM Implementation experience to include the design, development, and implementation of Profisee-based MDM solutions to support data governance and data quality initiatives
Experience in configuring Profisee to manage and integrate master data across multiple data sources
Understanding of data stewardship workflows, data matching, and cleansing processes within the Profisee platform
Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
Ability to perform regular data quality assessments and enforce MDM best practices
Extensive Databricks Development & Engineering to include designing, building and optimization of notebooks and workflows in Databricks to support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations
Experience implementing scalable data processing solutions using Apache Spark within Databricks
Experience monitoring and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks, tuning Databricks clusters for optimal performance and best practices of Databricks implementations
Experience in Integration & Automation to include developing seamless integration between Profisee, Databricks, and other enterprise systems (e.g., Azure Data Lakes, CRM, ERP systems)
Experience implementing automation for data ingestion, validation, and transformation processes
Understanding importance of collaborating with data governance teams to ensure consistent data definitions, business rules, and data quality standards are up to industry best practices
Monitor and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across platforms
Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, data architects, and business leaders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Experience providing technical expertise and troubleshooting support to ensure data-related issues are resolved in a timely manner
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of exposure to Azure Services and big data processing solutions
Solid experience in Microsoft traditional data warehousing and BI (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
3+ years of hands-on experience with Profisee MDM implementation and configuration
3+ years of experience with Databricks and Apache Spark in developing large-scale data processing pipelines
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems
Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, and data modeling techniques
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Scala
Experience with Azure cloud services (Databricks on Azure preferred)
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Fabric, Copilot, PowerBI, Azure Machine Learning, CosmosDB, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Logic Apps, etc.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and master data management principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on performance optimization
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with other MDM tools and platforms (e.g., Informatica, Talend).
Certifications in Databricks, Azure and Profisee solutions.
