Project Engineering Job DescriptionINTERFACE MANAGEMENT
- Assertive collaboration by the PE is critical to the project success!
- PE to work closely with PM to determine applicable stakeholders and project team makeup and critical interfaces.
- PE will interface with Engineering team/Engineering provider to ensure components necessary to meet project scope are executed.
- PE is responsible for interface with all Engineering and technical parties. Common technical team members include:
- Engineering team(s) (I&E, Civil, Mechanical, and Drafting)
- System Planning
- Measurement
- Operations
- Power Solutions
- Integrity/Technical Services
- Compression
- Customer's Engineering/Operations/Technical personnel
Other team members include:
- Environmental
- ROW
- Construction Manager
- Supply Chain
- Legal
- Regulatory
- Project Controls
- PE will track engineering provider's progress and cost to ensure timely completion of engineering deliverables per the project schedule.
- Collaborate and communicate regarding any project changes to ensure alignment of stakeholders and project team.
- Ensure that project goals and activities align with the overall strategic objectives of the company.
