Position Overview: The Epicor Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Epicor ERP system, analyzing business processes, and delivering actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Epicor functionality and the ability to leverage tools like Power BI and other Microsoft technologies to support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
System Management: Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Epicor ERP system to ensure it meets business needs.
Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data from Epicor to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within business processes.
Reporting: Develop reports and dashboards using Power BI to visualize data and provide insights to stakeholders.
User Support: Train and assist users in navigating the Epicor system and utilizing reporting tools effectively.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements.
Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of system processes, user guides, and best practices.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Epicor functionality and recommend improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience with Epicor ERP, including configuration and reporting.
Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
Proficient in Microsoft technologies, including Excel and SQL Server.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is a plus.
